Acupuncture is a way by inserting metal needles through the skin and stimulating specific points on the body, this removes blockages in the flow of qi.
Qi is translated loosely as the flow of vital energy through pathways or meridians in the body. By inserting needles into specific points along these pathways it is believed the body's energy flow will re-balance.
